Children
“When children come to St Thomas’ we want them to feel they are cared for in a friendly environment.
We want them to be excited about exploring the Bible and hearing about Jesus. We want them to know that they can make a difference where they are now. Most importantly, we want them to know that they are loved by God and are part of His family.
This is why we’re passionate about sharing God’s love with children through our Sunday and midweek groups, as well as events like our Easter Holiday Club and Light Explosion.
So why not join us on a Sunday morning? And you can contact us below if you’re interested in any of the other things we do.”

Sundays
We love having children at both Sunday mornings services, and all our groups are fully accessible.
At the 9am, they start in The Centre and will come back for the last 20 minutes of the service.
At 11am, they start in the service and will go over to The Centre after 20 minutes. They can be picked up from there after the service ends.
Midweek
Refresh
Refresh is open to all children Yrs 4-6, and each week we enjoy lots of games, activities, crafts, and competitions (with a new theme every session). We also take time to pray together and talk about our wonderings about God. Open for all, whether you go to church or not. Please note that a parental consent form will need to be signed on your first visit.
We meet weekly 6-7:30pm in The Centre on Thursdays.
Little Fishes
This is a group for babies, toddlers, parents and carers. Come and have time to chat with other parents/carers in a safe environment with lots of toys for the children to enjoy. We’ll have craft activities available, snacks for the children and a song time to end.
We meet at 10am every Wednesday in The Centre.
No booking is necessary and we look forward to seeing you!
PEEP
(20th Sept - 11th Oct, 8th Nov - 6th Dec)
Peep classes are every Friday 10-11am in the St Thomas’ Centre building, open to all parents/carers with children aged 0-4yrs.
We share ideas and activities that support your child’s learning and development in everyday life – talking, singing, sharing books and playing together.
There are opportunities to discuss with other parents, share experiences and learn new ways to encourage your child in everyday activities at home.
Dawn and Amy are the PEEP practitioners who lead the group. You will find a warm welcome here.
Trauma-Informed Parenting
We are passionate about supporting those who care for children who have experienced trauma (whether foster, adoptive, or kinship carers), and we particularly support ‘therapeutic parenting’. We host informal support evenings once every few months for those interested.
These evenings are relaxed and informal to share experiences, and may include a short talk from a guest speaker. Stay updated on when our next event will take place through the Connect email or on social media. All welcome, no booking needed.
