We offer a discount for charities, churches, and St Thomas Church members.

  • Large Rooms

    These are bigger activity spaces with TV & AV facilities. Ideal for larger gatherings.

    Room 1 (approx 8.5m x 9m) - £20/hour

    Room 2 (approx 8.5m x 10m) - £22/hour

    Rooms 1 & 2 - £35/hour

  • Quiet Room

    This is a small, comfortable room that can seat up to four. Ideal for private meetings.

    Room 4 (approx 1.4m x 1.3m) - £10/hour

    Group Rooms

    These are larger rooms equipped with TV & AV facilities. Ideal for group sessions.

    Room 3 (approx 5.3m x 5.6m) - £18/hour

    Large Rooms

    These are bigger activity spaces with TV & AV facilities. Ideal for larger gatherings.

    Room 5 (approx 6.1m x 6.2m) - £20/hour

    Room 6 (approx 5.8m x 5.8m) - £20/hour

    Rooms 5 & 6 (one large room) - £30/hour

  • Lounge-Style Room

    Room 9 has sofas and soft lighting options for a more relaxed event.

    Room 9 (approx 6.1m x 8.5m) - £20/hour

  • We have a fully-equipped ground-floor kitchen, as well as a small first-floor kitchen for basic service.

    Ground Floor Kitchen - £10/hour

    Coffee/tea & biscuits - £2 per head (above basic provision). Ask the team for details

FAQs

Where are you located?

We’re on Marton Street, Lancaster, LA1 1XX. (Just across the road from the police station). We are behind the main church building.

Is there wifi?

Yes, the password is provided on request.

Are there AV facilities?

All rooms (except 4 & 8) are fully equipped with high-quality AV. Rooms 1 & 2 have projectors, while all other rooms have screens.

Can I do ‘X’?

We suggest you contact Karl at Karl@st.tees.org.uk for our bookings policy.

Is the centre accessible?

The Centre is fully accessible, with ramps and clear drop-off points as well as a lift. There are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on all floors, with a changing places facility on the ground floor.

Are discounts available?

We offer a discount on room prices for charities, churches, and St Thomas Church members.

Can I make a repeat booking or hire multiple rooms?

Absolutely! Make sure to specify your requirements when contacting Karl.

How will I access my room?

We will provide you with relevant access to your booked room. This will not allow you to enter other parts of The Centre.

Are there parking facilities?

Yes, but you will need to arrange this with Karl before your event, as space is limited and may be used by other groups.

Is catering included?

While we have self-catering options, including a professional ground-floor kitchen and a small first-floor kitchen, we do not have inclusive catering options (though we are happy to suggest possible catering firms).

Do I need to go to church to use the centre?

Not at all. The Centre is open to everyone.

Is the centre pet-friendly?

Sorry, guide dogs only.
